# Cursor Sphere

This one is inspired by [Katamari Damacy](https://www.bandainamcoent.com/games/katamari-damacy-reroll).  Move your pointer and the little ball will slowly follow it. Roll over the letters and screenshot to pick them up.

Each letter sticks where the ball touches it, then rolls along with the sphere. The more you collect, the bigger it gets. You can pick up this whole post if you have the patience.

The component takes this text as its input. Three.js gives each collected letter depth, with its base wedged into the ball and its edges sticking out. The colors follow the blog's theme.

Click and hold anywhere on the page to lift the ball and unwind its pieces back into place. Release to stop. You can also focus the sphere icon and hold Space. Press Escape to pause. On a phone, drag to roll and hold still to unwind. Pause to scroll.
